Julia Bri Photography happened all because of my dog, believe it or not. She sparked this whole thing. When she was a puppy, I’d take my camera to the dog park with us to capture her playing, but most importantly, documenting her puppy stage. I brought that thing nearly every time we went and as we went more and more, we started to see our regular people and I would take pictures of their dogs just for fun.

I remember the first time I showed one of the owners the back of my camera and the pure joy on their face when they saw what I got floored me. I knew then that I wanted to make something out of this and continue to do that for people. Continue to spark joy and capture unfiltered memories. I wanted to tell people’s stories in a joyous, candid way and make them happy along the way.

Now here we are.

You deserve to remember the itty-bitty details of your child’s life like the way their pigtails curl at the ends. Their favorite books, their little fingers that wrap around yours. Every. little. thing. Everything you love and adore. Not only the things they inherited from you but the things they’ve made their own.

Of course your furbabies too. The way their personalities jump out when they’re running alongside you. Their tails wagging when you pull out their favorite toy. Coating your face in kisses. We get a limited time with them. Why not document every last thing? Their paws. Their unique coat markings. Those eyes that beg you to play or for a treat.

The bond and relationship I have with my girl changed me for the better. I know how it is. I know that feeling of being excited to see them after a long day at work. Thinking about what adventure we can take them on next.
